Covid Vaccine

Vaccination has begun in Westminster starting with the most clinically vulnerable as defined by the UK government.

Please do not contact the practice for this – you will be contacted for your first and second  vaccine, when there is availability . Priority is for the oldest, most high risk patients first.

We will be contacting people according to government priorities

A COVID 19 vaccine clinic is being set up at Lord’s Cricket Ground and the South Westminster Centre and will become operational during January.

Worried about the safety of the vaccine, the ingredients in the vaccine? Here’s a short clip from Dr Safa and Dr Chopra explaining the importance of the vaccine below, if you still have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact your GP at the practice.

Worried about the Vaccine ?

The UK’s Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), European Medicines Agency (EMA) and the World Health Organization have all reiterated that the benefits of the Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine in the prevention of COVID-19 far outweigh any possible risk of blood clots amongst those groups currently eligible to receive their first vaccination, as well as all of those due their 2nd dose.
